The idea for a Guitar-Bouzouki came as the result of a custom order from a friend. The original design was a joint-effort between the two of us. The instrument turned out to be a great success. It is the size and shape of a guitar but has 8 strings which are tuned in pairs (it is commonly tuned GDAE, GDAD or ADAD). After making a few minor modifications to the original design, I now offer it as a standard model. The Guitar-Bouzouki is based on my GA body shape. Pricing information for custom options is the same as for guitars. You can find pictures of the Guitar-Bouzouki here.
