The body and neck are now complete. After a final cleanup sanding the guitar will be ready for finish.

The Fretboard is glued

The Mother-of-pearl logo is cut and installed

 

Body with Binding.

 

The body is now ready for binding.

The top is braced and glued on.

 

The Cherry Rosette is cut out and installed.

 

The rim has been completed and the back is glued on. The sound port will be cut in the rim to complete the sides and the top will now be braced.

 

 

The top is Joined and then cut to shape. 

Once the sides have been joined they are tapered before the linings are installed.

 

 

An extra deep Rosewood Adirondack OM. The back is braced and the rim is in progress.

I'm not exactly sure how many working hours have gone into this guitar. I don't track that for ever instrument. My estimate for most guitars is somewhere around 60+ working hours with a lot of extra drying time on top of that.

The cherry wood binding and rosette on the body provide a great colour tie between the spruce and the rosewood.
